Regulator/Rectifier - CARR581
MOSFET TECHNOLOGY / Suitable for Lithium ion batteries
With 3 years Warranty!!

This regulator has a built-in temperature sensor. When the regulator overheats, the regulator turns itself off and will stop charging your battery. Once the temperature has dropped to an acceptable level, the regulator will automatically start charging the battery again.
This system provides excellent protection for your voltage regulator; and therefore also for your motorcycle. A failing normal voltage regulator can inflict serious damage to your motorcycle electronics!
If mounted on a heatsink, this regulator should not overheat under normal circumstances. If the regulator still overheats there is most likely something wrong with your battery, alternator or wiring.
